regulations

  • **RULE ONE.**    be a decent human. there's no reason to be a complete asshole, especially when this is something of a hobby. racism, transphobia, antisemitism, bigotry of any kind is a first time blockable offense. being rude to me, or people that i speak/write with frequently, is probably gonna get you a block, too. seriously, it's not hard not to be a terrible person, so don't be.

  • **RULE TWO.**    don't pressure me for replies. i'm sorry, but this is something that can very quickly turn me off of a roleplay. i'm an adult with a life. i have a full time job, i have a dog, i have things that i have to do daily for my mental & physical health, and sometimes i just don't want to be on to do my own thing. i don't need a reason, really, but i'll probably give you one. please, just be patient. if something has been sitting for a few days, feel free to remind me once or twice, but too often just makes me anxious.

  • **RULE THREE.**    no meta/power gaming. this is defined as taking control of my character or knowing things that yours wouldn't possibly know ic. aside from telepaths, which should always be discussed ic, bode is kind of standoffish if he doesn't know your character well. very few people really know much about him, and it will take a lot for him to really open up to someone. details about his past are very likely not to come up unless there is a lot of trust in the relationship.

  • **RULE FOUR.**    don't lie about your age. this, i will put you on blast for. i'm almost 30, i plain just don't want to roleplay with children. i don't want shit to hit the fan just because you can't respect boundaries. if you are under 18, you are not welcome on this account. i reserve the right to block you if i find out you are underage.

  • **RULE FIVE.**    i will roleplay a lot of things. non/dub con isn't one of them. i am a sa survivor, and this is the quickest way to get on my block list. it will trigger me, i will be pissed, and i might have a panic attack. please don't be an ass and trigger me on purpose. seriously, don't be a jerk, please respect me as a person and a survivor.

  • **RULE SIX.** i love shipping. platonic, romantic, sexual, i want to explore different aspects of bode's interactions with people. i like the journey as much as the destination, so don't take the build up away from me. i don't like shipping right out of the bat without some sort of chemistry, it isn't fun for me.

Nova Garon was supposed to be a way station before heading to Tanalorr with the one person who mattered most. He was meant to slip out while Cal was tearing the station apart, bring Kata to safety, and watch her grow without once having to look over her shoulder. He should have known the Jedi wouldn't let him leave quietly. What he never suspected was for the scrapper to appeal to him in a way that made sense. That made him want to abandon that fear-forged path and build himself a new one.
